Data deletion

You can remove PostDaba’s access to your social accounts, or have us delete your data, at any time. Here’s how. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.

Delete your PostDaba account and all its data

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address of your PostDaba account, with the subject “Delete my PostDaba account”.
  2. We confirm it’s you, then delete your account, your workspace data, your connected-account tokens, your posts and your uploaded media.
  3. We finish within 30 days (within 7 days for data from YouTube) and email you when it’s done. Copies in our backups disappear within a further 30 days.

Want a copy of your content first? Say so in the same email.

Remove one social network

In the PostDaba app, open the channel’s menu (its avatar in the channel list) and choose to disconnect or delete it. PostDaba stops using that network’s access immediately and deletes its token within 30 days. For YouTube, we also revoke our access with Google and delete the token and the data we stored from the channel within 7 days. For WordPress, we delete the stored Application Password within 48 hours.

Revoke access from the network itself

You can also remove PostDaba from each network’s settings. We then can no longer access that account:

  • Facebook: Settings and privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove PostDaba.
  • Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove PostDaba.
  • Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → remove PostDaba.
  • YouTube / Google: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions → PostDaba → Remove access.
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions → PostDaba → Remove access.
  • X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → PostDaba → Revoke.
  • LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → PostDaba → Remove.
  • Pinterest: Settings → Security, then remove PostDaba from your connected apps.
  • WordPress: on your site, Users → Profile → Application Passwords → PostDaba → Revoke.

Data we received from Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)

To have us delete the data we received from Meta, remove PostDaba in your Facebook or Instagram settings as shown above, and email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Meta data” and the name of your Page or account. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Data we received from YouTube

To have us delete the data we stored from your YouTube channel, disconnect it in PostDaba or email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my YouTube data”. We delete it within 7 days and confirm by email. Deleting data from PostDaba doesn’t delete anything stored by YouTube: to delete your videos or channel data on YouTube itself, use YouTube.
